No official story plots were released yet. In this film Tom Cruise and company wouldn't delve into what "Ghost Protocol" means or -- shocker! -- what the film's plot entails, they were more than happy to part with a few thoughts on filming in Dubai, which is know for it futuristic look and for boasting the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa.

A secret film written and directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg was finally admitted by Paramount pictures that it does exist. The film only released a trailer which is shown below with limited details about the movie. The movie "Super 8" is expected to hit the movie theaters in June 2011

THE BUZZ: The latest from J.J. Abrams is a collaboration with producer Steven Spielberg and a tribute to his 1980s footprints. We love the title, a retro take on the found-footage genre, and though little else is known about the story at this point, we have to assume that Elle Fanning and her friends/family (five bucks says that Amanda Michalka plays her sister, or babysitter) get on their bicycles to take down this monster while the military storms through their town.

- Set in 1979 Ohio, a group of six young children use a Super 8 camera to make their own zombie movie. One night while filming near a remote stretch of railroad tracks, the children witness a truck collide with an oncoming train leading to a catastrophic derailment. Amidst the fire and destruction, something inhuman emerges.
- Abrams and Spielberg collaborated in a storytelling committee to come up with the story for the film. It was initially reported to be either a sequel, or a prequel to the 2008 film Cloverfield. However, Abrams quickly responded to those reports by stating, "You have to check the trailer, but it has nothing to do with Cloverfield". It is shot traditionally, and filming started in fall 2010. The teaser itself was filmed separately in April. This film is the first original J. J. Abrams film project. Amblin Entertainment, Bad Robot Productions, and Paramount Pictures will produce. Filming took place in Weirton, West Virginia, from September-October 2010.
- The first teaser trailer for the film screened ahead of theatrical releases of Iron Man 2. It depicted the seemingly deliberate derailment of a United States Air Force train (tagged "Groom Lake One"), which was presumably transporting undisclosed materials from Area 51 to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the subsequent escape of an unknown entity from inside one of the cargo cars. The film is planned for theatrical release on June 10, 2011. On February 6, a 30-second television advertisement for Super 8 premiered during the American broadcast of the Super Bowl XLV on FOX. On Friday, March 11th the first theatrical trailer premiered on Twitter. The poster and wallpaper were unveiled that same night.
