PLOT:
Anthony always dreamed of being a famous chef. Julian only thought about women. With neither really working out, the childhood best friends decide to start a detective agency. Unfortunately for them, on their first case they must help protect a sexy, high class escort who holds the key evidence to a scandalous cover up. The two bumbling detectives soon find themselves running from the mob, a corrupt US Senator, and a ruthless Mary Poppins-like assassin – all of whom would stop at nothing to hide the truth. It’s just an average day for two bumbling losers.” This movie trailer is linear and gives away a few things I wish they had not (the death of a particular killer). “Escort” movies are growing in prominence this year with X being released as well. This film seems less serious than X and more along the lines of Lucky Number Slevin. What’s interesting is that the escort has the wits to grab the harddrive as a security blanket. PRE-PRODUCTION REVIEW:
For you who don’t know Paz Vega, well she is the lovely sexy girl behind the film Spanglish where we played a Mexican nanny with Adam Sandler. She is also starred in Sex and Lucia. This Spanish actress is dominating and Hollywood. Lots of upcoming projects are in line with Vega like The Last Tango, Castro’s Daughter, Butterflies & Lightning, Tango Dancer, and The Jesuit.
In this film, Cat Run, Paz Vega will play as a first class prostitute or escort girl whose customers are respectable diplomat. In one of his gig, a fellow escort girl will be killed and it will be caught by a surveillance camera. The chase will start when she took the evidence of such killing. She then will seek the help of two unlikely protectors from a ruthless assassin that is hired to silence her.

The film is kind a serious from the start, until the two detectives come along. Funny but yet sizzling with action as they tried to survived and reveal the truth.
Directed by John Stockwell, the film will hit the cinema screen on Appril 1, 2011.

" The movie looks very good. I was able to see the advance screening and it was extremely entertaining, fast paced, funny with some good one-liners, action packed, and had a lot of eye-candy as well. The whole cast worked well in their parts and there were a lot of fresh faces that I think would be nice to see in more movies (some of the girls that played the [main] escorts, Krebb’s body guard, and some of the extras in the final party scene). Very good looking cast! Fun movie"
