Wanted 2 is the film sequel to the film Wanted in 2008. It will be directed by Timur Bekmambetov and will again stars James McAvoy. The film is set for release this 2011.

On the first plan of the film, Angelina Jolie was cast for this Wanted 2 sequel. But due to another film Gravity that might conflict the schedule of the actress, she then choose to drop this film and proceed with Gravity. Although it will be more easy to the maker of Wanted since at the first film the character that Angelina Jolie played died.
Schedule of the film released cannot still be finalized even they are still saying it will hit the cinema screen this year. But the filming has not yet been started so there is a big chance that this film will be move to release next year 2012.

Not sure if I'm keen on a part 2. I wasn't overly fussed on Wanted and actually sat through it feeling quite bored. I think I'll be giving this one a miss!!
