PRE-PRODUCTION REVIEW:
The film Haywire has a star studded casts like Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, and Bill Paxton, and yet the leading role goes to a new comer. Well I am talking about the girl who played the Mallory Cane. Gina Carano has not yet been in a film as star studded as this one. Carano was in a film Blood and Bone but she has a small part in this film as Verreta (a girl fighter). She is also known to be Natasha Volkova of a popular computer game "Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3". And she also appears in some action TV episodes where she usually played a feminine fighter. She may not be an Angelina Jolie, but she may show the world another action female star. Who knows? The production won’t spend $25,000,000, if they know she is not suited for this film.
Well this film is not only filled with stars, it is also directed by one of the best director in Hollywood, Steven Soderbergh. This Academy Award winning director really can deliver. So do expect a great film when it is made by Soderbergh. If you are still wondering why this director is so great? Well have you seen Erin Brockovich? He just won an Oscar best director with it. And films like Traffic, Ocean's Eleven, Full Frontal, Solaris, Ocean Thirteen, and The Informant!
