PLOT:
Another suspense horror film from the director of "Saw", James Wan. The story is about a family of young couple with a child that is in comatose. The child's mind is trapped in a dark realm known as The Further where the evil duels.

• Insidious is a 2011 horror film directed by James Wan and starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne. The film is set to be released in theaters on April 1, 2011
• The film's script is written by Leigh Whannell, and the film is directed by James Wan.[5] The film was filmed in Los Angeles in early 2010.[6] The film was originally going to be called The Further. This name was then changed to The Astral, before the name Insidious was eventually settled on.[7] The film was shown during the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival.
• Yes, it's true, it's the newest non-Saw film from James Wan and Leigh Whannell, and the buzz from the picky, informed Toronto International Film Festival midnight-movie scene has been strong. Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli is one of the producers, and his influence can be felt in terms of the mood and atmosphere, but really everyone works hard here to pay homage to Poltergeist, Amityville Horror, and other faves. Barbara Hershey is back with another creepy performance, but we hear genre vet Lin Shaye owns the third act. This is the beginning of an interesting year for upstart distributor FilmDistrict, former Apparition co-chief Bob Berney's new company
