PLOT:
Puss, a cat who always wear boots is known as a good Mexican cat friend of Shrek and Donkey from the movie Shrek. Well in this film "Puss in Boots", the story is set way before Puss ever met Shrek. This suave and furry feline hero goes on a swashbuckling ride, as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Egg.

REVIEW:
In a spin-off from the Shrek films, the comical cat character Puss in Boots is getting his own film. The first teaser trailer was released on March 4, offering the preview of the animated tale in 3D.

This one-minute glimpse at the swashbuckler, voiced by Antonio Banderas, shows his dashing persona, his bold leaps and his smooth sword-fighting skills. Women swoon and kids cheer as the feline swaggers into town.

As a prequel to Shrek, this early adventure finds Puss in Boots teamed up with Humpty Dumpty, voiced by Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), and Kitty, voiced by Salma Hayek (Frida), in a scheme to steal the goose that lays the golden eggs.

From the producers of How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda, the family tale is directed by Chris Miller, who was the voice of the Puppet Master in Shrek the Third, which he wrote and directed.

Puss in Boots hits theaters on November 4 in North America and November 30 in France, then rolling out to the UK, Germany, Brazil and more in December.

TRIVIA:
In the movie Shrek where the character Puss in boots was introduced, all the characters came from tales like Pinocchio, Donkey (a child that is transform to a talking donkey in the tale of Pinocchio), Rumpelstiltskin, and others. Well Puss in Boots came from a 1697 French fairy tale "Puss in Boots" written by Charles Perrault. Well I guess they just choose ro change the character from French to Mexican.
