PLOT:
The story is about Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin), turning 30 years old and still single, unhappy, but a talented attorney who is successfully working in a law firm in New York and her best friend Darcy (Kate Hudson), who is about to get married. On the night of Rachel's 30th birthday, Rachel got drunk and wakes up finding herself in bed with her best friend's fiancé Dex (Colin Egglesfield), whom she has had a crush on since they're on college. From one night-stand into an affair, this will test their friendship, trust and love.
PRE-PRODUCTION REVIEW:
Hillary Swank and Molly Mickler were the first people who wanted this best selling novel of Emily Griffin into a film. This novel, "Something Borrowed" became an international best seller and was put in the New York Times Best Seller List in 2005. So high hopes are expected on this film. But I guess we won't be disappointed on this film-adaptation since it stars Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin, and it is directed by Luke Greenfield who gave us some of the great films like, The Animal and Girl Next Door.
